Cove is a small independent studio. We designed every app to keep your data on your device — and we try to extend that same philosophy to this website.
What never leaves your device
Photos you take in Cove Photo, audio you record in Cove Voice, health records in Cove Health, and translations in Cove Travel are processed by the Gemma engine on your phone. These payloads are never uploaded, logged, or mirrored by us.
What this website collects
Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregated, cookie-free page views. Umami, a self-hosted analytics service running on our own server, records the same kind of aggregated page views without cookies and without cross-site identifiers. Google Analytics 4 only loads after you click Accept on the consent banner and uses IP anonymization. Microsoft Clarity records heatmaps and session replays of how this website is used. It loads on every visit but starts in cookie-less mode: until you click Accept it stores no cookies and cannot link separate visits together. Accept grants it cookie consent; Reject keeps it cookie-less. Clarity only ever sees this marketing website — never anything you process inside the apps. We do not embed Facebook, TikTok, X, or LinkedIn tracking pixels.
Email updates
If you subscribe to launch updates we store your email address with Buttondown for the sole purpose of sending those updates. You can unsubscribe from any message in one click.
APK downloads
APKs are distributed through Cloudflare R2. Edge logs retain IP, timestamp, and user agent for 30 days to mitigate abuse; we do not cross-reference them with any other data.
